There is nothing like being pampered while seeing the world! And going on a cruise is one of the very best ways of doing it. But what if you need cruise travel insurance for your pre-existing medical conditions? And what if your travel insurer won't cover you just because of those medical conditions or your medical history? Come to us. We offer cruise travel insurance cover for people with medical conditions. And we don't charge the earth for it either.
Our cruise travel insurance cover is a simple extension that can be added to any single trip or annual policy. You will not be covered for any cruise trips at all unless you have purchased the Cruise Extension and you have paid the appropriate additional premium. It isn't included in any of our policies as standard but it is easy to buy as an extension. Once you have chosen your policy type you will be able to add cruise cover when you select your policy options. Simply add the Cruise Extension. This will give you access to all the benefits of our cruise cover.
The Cruise Extension offers a wide range of standard benefits such as cancellation and curtailment cover as well as cruise specific benefits. These include cover in case you are confined to the ship's hospital or your cabin whilst onboard, cover if you miss a port due to bad weather or cover if you miss a pre-booked excursion. It will also compensate you if you have to cut short your trip and will give you up to £10 million in medical expenses - more than enough if you need to be airlifted to hospital.
We can cover people up to the age of 100 too. Because you're never too old to see the world!

Q: How do I buy a Cruise extension?
A: The Cruise Extension is not automatically included. However, adding it is easy. Once you have chosen your policy type you'll see there is an option to add cruise cover in your policy options. Select this option and you'll be covered for your cruise. Simple. Of course, if you'd like to chat about it, give us a call on the usual number at the top of this page.
Q: What happens if I am ill and can't go on an excursion or have to stay on board at port?
A: Our policy will compensate you for missing out on a destination if you are unable to disembark due to adverse weather or timetable restrictions up to the sum insured. We will also cover you if you are detained in the ship's hospital or are confined to your cabin and can't go on a pre-organised excursion.
Q: Will you cover me if I have to cancel?
A: We will cover you up to £5,000 if you have to cancel your cruise, depending on the reason but you must have added the Cruise Extension to your policy.
