Free cover for sports and activities

Fancy getting active while you're away? Living with a medical condition doesn't always have to hold you back from getting involved in sports and activities - even if it's just a gentle hike or a sailing excursion. So it's good news that with Travel Insurance 4 Medical you are automatically covered for over 150 pursuits - free of charge.

Cover is subject to you using the recommended safety equipment (such as a helmet, harness, knee and elbow pads), and following safety procedures, rules and instructions of qualified instructors. If the sport or activity is provided by a local operator you must ensure they are appropriately qualified and licenced.

There is a general exclusion under our policies for claims arising directly or indirectly from putting yourself in unnecessary danger. The insurer will not pay your claim if you do not meet this policy condition. If you use a motorised vehicle during your trip, please make sure you hold a full and valid United Kingdom driving licence that allows you to use that vehicle.

Please note that all of the activities listed below are covered on a non-professional and non-competitive basis unless otherwise stated. All activities marked with an asterisk (*) indicate those which do not have Personal Liability cover and those marked with a (‡) indicate those for which the Personal Accident sum insured is reduced by 50%.

Please refer to the policy wording for more details of the cover provided.
